Why Pakistan inviting “Tesla”

Pakistan’s auto sector is currently captured by three big players i.e. Honda, Toyota, and Suzuki. However, the country wants to introduce itself as a destination for electric car manufacturers to avoid carbon emissions. Pakistan has cities with poor air quality indexes especially Karachi, Lahore, and Faisalabad. That’s why the Federal Minister of Science and technology has given an open invitation to the CEO of “Tesla Elon Musk”.

According to the Federal Minister why Pakistan is an attractive marketplace and looking for a positive response from Tesla.

  • It a haunting place for three big giants like Honda, Toyota, and Suzuki
  • The willingness of the Government to give every Possible Incentive to Tesla, which is possible

The credit should be given to this Government as they are focusing on changing the environmental conditions of Pakistan. Pakistan falls third in the category of Countries which are affected by global environmental change.
