RAWALPINDI: The master class innings by the number T20 batsman Babar Azam led the Karachi Kings to get an easy victory against Peshawar Zalmi at Rawalpindi cricket stadium on Monday.
Karachi Kings achieved the target after losing only fours wickets.
Babar Azam’s blistering innings of 70 runs was envisaged with 10 fours while Hales rapid-fire with 49 with six fours and two sixes made the destination easy.
Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi have Set 152-run Target for Karachi Kings.
Muhammad Amir’s first spell destroyed Zalmi’s upper-middle order and restricted them at 151 for 8.
Senior batsman Shoaib Malik stayed long at the crease and made 68 on 55 balls with the help of six fours and a six.
Muhammad Amir grabbed four while Jordan two, Umer Khan and Amir Yamin got one wicket each.
