Editors take particular care when adding information about a living person. such material requires a high-quality source and citation. As such material is likely to be challenged so must be supported by inline citation to a reliable published source. The burden of evidence rest with the editors and Wikipedia will remove the data if it finds that the sources are week.

Image use policies

Wikipedia Sets out policies regarding image use including its format, content, and copyright issues.
Before you upload an image its should fall into one of the four categories:

  • Own work

  • You own all the rights to the image you have created by yourself. In case of a Photograph or a screenshot, you must own the copyrights for all the protected items.

  • Freely licensed

  • You can establish that the patent owner has released the image under an acceptable free license. Note that images that are approved for use only on Wikipedia, or only for non-commercial or educational use, can use them for the described purpose only.

  • Public domain

  • You can verify that the illustration is in the public domain, i.e. free of all copyrights

  • Fair use/non-free

  • You think that the image meets the particular conditions for non-free content, which remarkably permit the use of the unlicensed substance, and you can provide clear-cut non-free use grounds explaining why and how you are going to use it.
